Bespoke Farm Visits
What does a farm visit comprise?
Each visit to Mill Bank Farm is tailored to the needs and requirements of the group visiting. Activites on your farm visit could include:
- farm tour
- learning about the Sussex cattle,
- looking at the free range pigs,
- meeting the farm horses,
- feeding the hens.
We can also include in your visit farm walks and talks about agricultural machinery and implements.
Weather permitting, pond-dipping can be enjoyed from the 'scrapes' in place on the marshland.
The farm has disabled facilities for visitors with limited mobility.
Mill Bank Farm arranges bespoke educational farm visits to our working Organic farm for schools and other groups. For school parties, the farm aims to provide a day out of the classroom that will inspire children in many areas of their learning. Groups from the community, such as Brownies, Scouts and the WI are also encouraged to visit by prior appointment.
A new classroom - The School House - has been built and all sessions are led by a qualified teacher. Disabled facilities are available. Gifts are available to purchase.
